Leo the Dog needs a home
Leo is an approximately 6 year old stray from an OH dog shelter. Leo is very affectionate and showers the older children in his foster home with kisses. His foster mom says he is quite silly and enjoys playing with toys, but doesn't like to share. His adopter should be someone who enjoys taking walks as Leo would rather go on a walk than hang out in a fenced in back yard. Leo keeps to himself and wouldn't mind being an only dog, but also gets along with other dogs his size. He does not seem to like large dogs or the cats in his foster home. He does not like to be picked up, but does enjoy the company of his foster family.
Despite consulting with our veterinarian and starting a joint supplement and anti-inflammatory possible arthritis in his back, Leo will growl, spin and attack his back side when he is up on his hind legs and comes down or when you put him down. It very well may be a normal behavior for him since the medications did not help.
